The wonderful thing is we are living in a technology driven society which means almost everyone is connected to social media. I spent 14 years in a classroom devoted to education and school readiness. In all honesty the best part of those years was reading to the kids and having them read to each other. It was a very joyous occasion to watch. I inspired them and they inspired me. A book takes a child on a journey to explore and discover new things. There are many countries in the world that cannot afford books for children to read. I wish I had the finances to travel the world to do this but I cannot. So this is my alternative.
